bevPLUS organised a day-long sensory beer tasting experience, facilitated by FlavorActiv's Aruna Singh and Hotel Verde, Africa's greenest hotel. FlavorActiv provide the tools and training for high quality professional and technical beer tasters. The training session was beneficial in understanding the different tastes, textures and elements found in various beers and was followed up by a taster test and some delicious pizza’s after the session. Draft beer was brought through for the group to enjoy by CBC's, Wolfgang Koedel.
Other attendees included members from Saggy Stone, Woodstock Brewing Company, CBC, Devil’s Peak, Dematech and bevPLUS.
